The exhibition, Me, the mannequin, opens Saturday, January 27th at Myrkraverk Gallery at Skólavörðustígur 3. 

The exhibition consists of photographic works from 2022, together with sketches and objects that were used for the creation of the works. The installation's objectives are to give an account of the creative process itself, the step-by-step creation of the artwork. The artist uses photography as a performative medium and stages herself in front of the camera. By hand crafting costumes and other objects the artist strives to create characters which interpret certain emotions, experiences and understanding of the world she inhabits. 

The exhibition is open January 27th-28th, from 15:00-18:00.
