A woman in love with solitude.
Völva is the Nordic name for a prophetess who could have magical powers as well. Such female beings are known in many parts of the world under various names.
Photos are taken on a beach in Þorskafjörður in Iceland where I spent my summers as a child.
These work will be a part of a group exhibition Surroundings/ENVIROMNENTS in San Miniato Italy in November 2023.
